Kids in the Klinic

Kids in the Klinic is a volunteer-led program designed to help underserved children in the San Francisco Bay Area and Central Valley. Its mission is to raise funds to provide much-needed oral health care for children at the dental school's clinics. Many of these children do not have access to dental care and some have extreme medical problems, birth defects or other debilitating conditions.

Our goal is to continue to raise funds for the over $2 million Kids in the Klinic Endowment. Your gifts to this endowment and your participation in our Kids in the Klinic fundraising events will help us provide ongoing funding to address the dental needs of our community's children, from infants to teenagers.

Net proceeds from the Kids in the Klinic Golf Classic will support University of the Pacific's Kids in the Klinic Endowment. Kids in the Klinic provides funding for dental care, education and oral health prevention to disadvantaged children via the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry's Hutto Patterson Pediatric Clinic.

Approximately 10,000 patients, including many from underserved populations, visit the Dugoni School's clinics for care. Each year the school provides more than $26 million worth of oral healthcare services to the public at a discounted price. We care for people from all walks of life, including children, adults, seniors, people with special needs, HIV/AIDS patients, veterans, homeless individuals and other groups. The Dugoni School is the only dental home for thousands of patients who would not otherwise receive proper oral healthcare.
